More Than Just Babysitting

As an au pair, you’re not a member of the staff, but an equal member of the host family. You share in their daily life, bring your own culture with you, and take a little piece of the Netherlands back home with you. We’ll make sure you’re placed with a family where it truly feels that way.

Our founder, Elena, was an au pair herself in the Netherlands and Denmark. She knows what it’s like to start over in a new country. That’s why we don’t just leave you on your own after the match: we stay in touch, organize outings, and help out if anything comes up.

Benefits of being an au pair

Live with a real Dutch family

No hostel, no remote intermediary. You'll stay in your own room with a family we've spoken to in person.

Improve Your Dutch and English

You'll be communicating with your host family every day. Starting in June 2026, the program will include an online Dutch course, which is free for you.

Meet other au pairs

Three to four times a year, we organize outings and workshops: a city trip, a BBQ, a first-aid course. That’s how you build a network.

Support when you need it

Are you having trouble with your host family? We'll help mediate. You're never on your own.

2. We'll find your match

We'll connect you with host families that are a good fit for you. You'll meet the family and decide for yourself if you click with them.

3. We'll take care of the rest

Visa, contract, and arrival: we'll guide you through every step. You can focus on your new adventure.
